The trainer has the experience of teaching for more than 20 years and that sounds good and may be useful to the students if they join this course by British Council.
An aspect that it covers is that
"This course will take you through each stage of the IELTS test — reading, writing, speaking and listening. At each stage there will be advice from our video tutor and a team of experienced IELTS educators. You will also be asked to share your experiences, tips and opinions with other learners."
This seems to be a good ideas but if it covers only the basic of English then that can be done anywhere and there is no need to go ahead exclusively with British Council.
If you want to prepare for IELTS then it seems to have great importance but if you want to learn from the scratch, it has no meaning for you.
